If you're looking to conserve electricity--get an iPad. According to the Electric Power Research Institute, a desktop PC costs $28.21 to power for a year. That's more than 20 times as much as an iPad. For even greater savings, use an iPhone. A year's worth of electricity is estimated at just 38-cents.
